I have been traveling for work throughout the USA and Canada for over 25 years. Though this has been rewarding, it has left me with wanting more. Most of my travel thus far has been spent waiting in airports, renting cars, and going to the next hotel.
I had an epiphany after receiving a letter from my preferred hotel chain. They informed me that since I had been so loyal, I no longer had to qualify for their top tier status and that I was now a lifetime Diamond member. This may sound fantastic, but they included the number of days I had stayed in their hotel properties, which exceeded 5 years of my life! This doesn’t even take in consideration other chains I have stayed with. That is when it hit me: I have been everywhere and seen nothing.
I decided at this point that my travel habits would change and that I would enjoy the journey to my next sales call. Instead of spending a night in a boring hotel, I would stay and see the campgrounds/RV parks throughout this great country.
So, I bought an Airstream travel trailer! This is the story of my travels. I hope that you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy experiencing them.
